We are a dynamic and fast-growing Events Firm, looking for a Finance Executive to join our expanding team. You will be working closely with the directors and interacting with a talented team. This is a hands-on role where you will handle the overall responsibility for the ongoing day-to-day running and management of the finance operation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Management and financial reporting
- Closing Budget, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Cash Flow Management
- Invoicing
- Accounts Closing
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Handling GST registration and reporting,
- Preparing and submitting monthly Payroll and CPF submissions
- Handling Tax reporting and accounting
- Financial systems implementation and improvements
Requirements
- Experience in working in Events Industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
- Proven work experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards, Corporate Tax, GST
- Proficient in Accounting Software (XERO) and MS Office Suite (Word and Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
- Ability to adapt to changes, and work independently and as part of a team.
