Job Summary:
As a Marketing Executive specializing in workboat and construction vessel chartering, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote and sell services to offshore oil and gas companies, drilling contractors, and other stakeholders in the energy industry. You will work closely with sales, operations, and management teams to identify market opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth for the fleet. This role requires strong industry knowledge, marketing expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of services to potential clients.
Responsibilities:
- Market and charter workboats and construction vessels to clients locally and internationally.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and ROI metrics to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Develop actionable business development plans tailored to designated regions.
- Cultivate robust relationships with global industry contacts, clients, and partners.
- Provide weekly reports detailing business negotiations, proposals, and tender activities undertaken by both individuals and teams.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional departments and external entities to facilitate project execution and delivery.
- Ensure prompt payment collection for projects.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, technological advancements, and market trends affecting the offshore support vessel sector, incorporating insights into marketing strategies and positioning.
- Coordinate and guarantee the timely delivery of vessels to clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing or business development roles, preferably within the maritime industry or offshore oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of offshore support vessel operations, services, and market dynamics, including knowledge of vessel types, capabilities, and applications.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
