Job Descriptions:
- Perform routine quality checks & inspections on all incoming products
- Conduct sensory evaluations for existing, re-formulated & new products
- Analyse possible reasons for defects and quality lapses
- Generate QC reports and maintaining quality assurance records
- Develop sampling plans for quality control purposes
- Implement plans and strategies to support provision of safe food products.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure meet company’s quality standards, food safety and hygiene compliances of FSMS, authority & customer requirement.
- Ensuring products adherence to Singapore food regulations
- Ensure production workers comply with GMP and hygiene practices, food safety standards and SOP at all times
- Report non-conformances to superior / person-in-charge for investigation & corrective action
- Resolve quality issues / customer feedbacks with the team
- Support R&D projects & assist in samples preparation
- Provide food quality & food safety related assistance to other departments (i.e. marketing)
- Assist in internal, external and regulatory audits
- Second point of contact for product certifications / documents request
- Involve in improvement project initiated by QA team
- Any other duties that the Company may assign from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management / Food Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 2 year of QC experience in food manufacturing industry is preferred
- Equipped with basic cooking skills & sushi experience background will be an advantage
- Experience with managing food company factory will be an advantage
- Capable of working as part of a team as well as working independently with minimal supervision
- Possess good interpersonal skills, self-motivated & meticulous
