Job Title: Corporate Support Officer (CSO)

Location: Fuchun Primary School, 23 Woodlands Avenue 1, Singapore 739063

Working Hours:

  • 1st shift (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays): 6:30am to 3:30pm (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
  • 2nd shift (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays): 8:45am to 6:00pm (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
  • Wednesdays: 6:30am to 4:15pm (1st shift) / 9:15am to 6:00pm (2nd shift) (inclusive of 45-minute lunch break)
  • Services not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazette public holidays.

Reporting to: Administrative Manager

Job Summary:As a Corporate Support Officer (CSO) at Fuchun Primary School, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative function of the school. Your responsibilities will include providing frontline customer service, performing general administrative tasks, attending to pupils reporting at the First-Aid Room, and assisting teachers with ad-hoc preparation of resources. You will work closely with school staff and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and contribute to creating a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide frontline/counter customer service, including handling calls and walk-in queries in a courteous and professional manner.
  2. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records accurately and efficiently.
  3. Attend to pupils reporting at the First-Aid Room, administer basic first aid when necessary, and escalate medical emergencies as per school protocols.
  4. Support teachers in the ad-hoc preparation of teaching resources, including printing, photocopying, and preparation of teaching aids such as cutting and lamination works.
  5. Assist in coordinating logistics for school events, meetings, and activities as required.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in shared workspaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
  7. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and contributing to a supportive team culture.
  8. Adhere to school policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in an educational institution.
  • At least 1 year of experience attending to first aid related matters.
  • Possess at least a GCE ā€˜Nā€™ level certificate or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
