As an Alteryx Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Alteryx workflows to streamline data processing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, optimize workflows, and deliver high-quality solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, and a passion for solving complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Alteryx workflows to automate data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and analysis processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Alteryx.
- Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Implement best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and version control within the Alteryx environment.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with Alteryx workflows, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay updated on Alteryx features, enhancements, and best practices to continuously improve workflow design and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to users, helping them leverage Alteryx effectively to achieve their goals.
- Document workflows, processes, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, contributing expertise in data engineering and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a data engineer, analytics developer, or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing data workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Alteryx Designer, including building complex workflows, utilizing advanced tools and functions, and integrating with external systems.
- Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data warehousing principles.
- Familiarity with other data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
