Job Summary
M Diagnostics is a CAP- accredited clinical laboratory. We provide clinical services to our clients. The Medical Technologist will perform laboratory tests, assist in receiving, processing samples and carry out specialized investigation of patient samples. In addition, you will perform on-going quality control checks to ensure test results are precise and accurate. The role requires the individual to have a high level of attention to detail, be proactive and work well under pressure.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To prepare specimens and perform analysis of patient specimens according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Performing moderate to high complexity molecular-based tests.
- Maintain daily quality control, calibration and routine maintenance of lab testing and lab instrument.
- Verify the laboratory report with results on all performed tests and ensure accuracy and timely lab reporting.
- Periodically reviewing procedures and submitting recommended changes to supervisor.
- Participate in developmental work on new tests.
- Any other duties as assigned by Lab Manager or section head.
- Such other duties as the Company may reasonably assign to you.

Desired Skills and Competencies
- Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Science, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or its equivalent
- At least 1 year of molecular biology related work experience.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and in teams.
