Marketing Manager, APAC

This role will fulfil a vital liaison function between business units and the marketing function with our internal agency delivery teams. The role will work with the APAC business units to determine marketing and brand strategy in region, ensure best practice digital and traditional marketing execution and delivery, develop KPIs in terms of impactful ROI to both the local business unit and its contribution to the global division. The candidate will also be responsible for providing events support to the APAC business units. They will create and manage promotional plans and work with the events team to create timelines for company hosted and third-party events, both in-person and virtual. The candidate will also be responsible for creating registration sites using Cvent for company-hosted events and must ensure that all tasks are complete, accurate, and on-time. The role reports into the Vice President of Marketing, EMEA-A.



General Duties:

  • Work with the business units or regional teams to develop a prioritization framework that is driven by KPIs and objectives and informed by previous ROI information and activity
  • Develop a marketing and communications strategy that supports growth objectives.
  • Ensure best practice digital marketing delivery
  • Work with key stakeholders within the business units to plan and develop a yearly marketing activity calendar, based on the prioritized initiatives, goals, and activities originating from the strategy.
  • Translate that activity calendar into functional deliverables by quarter and scope the outputs with the marketing delivery teams.
  • Based on an established prioritization framework, commercial value, strategic importance, and capacity planning, prioritize the deliverables and work with the marketing team to support delivery of all the required assets, collateral and campaigns.
  • Liaise with other delivery teams or 3rd party suppliers involved in any initiative or output.
  • Evaluate marketing strategy, KPIs and commercial benefit to ensure effective prioritization and future activity planning.
  • Complete and present monthly marketing performance reporting against established KPI’s.
  • Work with central marketing team to establish and maintain budgets for marketing initiatives
  • Submit monthly activity reports to ensure strategic objectives are on target, on time and on budget
  • Build sales pipeline for business unit’s broad range of products and services using marketing services delivery teams’ offering including (but not limited to):
  1. Digital advertising
  2. Lead Generation
  3. Content Generation
  4. Social Media
  5. Print
  6. PR
  7. Trade Shows and Events
  8. Direct Mail
  9. Sales Enablement
  • Create promotional plans/timelines per event
  • Manage internal review processes for event marketing deliverables
  • Act as an intermediary between marketing and event stakeholders
  • Manage final proofing and compliance approval processes for event marketing deliverables
  • Coordinate launching the promotion for each event with the StoneX Marketing team, including (but not limited to):
  1. Social media
  2. Email
  3. Website
  • Build and test registration sites using Cvent
  • Coordinate with third party event and tradeshow organizers to ensure participation in and sponsorships of third-party events is organized and deliverables are managed in a timely manner
  • Other event marketing and event management tasks as assigned by manager
  • Ability to travel to in-person events when required (national and international)


Skills:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Marketing in the APAC region
  • Ability to create a global and regional marketing strategy to support business KPI’s
  • Experience in briefing and optimizing marketing campaigns including paid media (performance, social and search), owned social, email, content, print and PR
  • Polished communication and presentation skills to present projects, ideas, budgets, and results to key stakeholders across all levels.
  • Strong communication (English and Mandarin) and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and foster a team-oriented, results-driven culture
  • Experience managing budgets and range of projects
  • Understanding of financial analysis and ability to calculate ROI for marketing initiatives to inform strategy, prioritize projects and initiatives in terms of impact to the business
  • Ability to help business units identify and define customer value propositions for products and services that enhance client offering and support cross-selling objectives
  • Experience with On24 (preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Experience with Cvent (preferred)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Digital marketing experience advantageous.
  • Experience on both business and agency side advantageous.
  • Commodities marketing or financial services marketing experience preferred
  • Project management skills a benefit
