Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and perform quality inspections.
- Conduct measurements and tests on products, calibrate equipment and identify production irregularities.
- Prepare, review and revise testing procedures or MSOP for the part’s measurement.
- Perform dimensional assessments of products to ensure dimensions meet drawing specifications.
- Document results, prepare inspection reports and perform simple data analysis.
- Follow up with Production on quality issues to resolution through corrective actions.
- Assist in NPI parts inspection, generate report and perform sample evaluation.
- Maintain equipment calibration according to metrology standards and monitor functionality.
- Prepare and update Work Instructions and conduct measuring equipment training.
- Ensure approval samples are properly identified and recorded in the Master list.
- Identify areas for quality control improvement.
Requirements:
- Possess relevant experience as a quality technician.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word to prepare the inspection record.
- Capable of operating and programing automated measuring equipment (CMM, Optical Measuring equipment etc)
- Possess the ability to analyze and interpret technical information (understand GD&T, blueprint reading etc)
- Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
