The Operations Executive (OE) will be a key member of the dynamic team amongst the diversified Jurong Port’s operations serving the unique industry of oil and gas.
Working at the Offshore Marine Center in Tuas, the OE will build his/her operations knowledge through the unique oil and gas vessel operations by being responsible for the planning of storage, manpower resources, equipment and conflict/exception resolutions, ensuring the quick turnaround of vessels.
The OE must possess good team ethics and communication skills, work with different stakeholders as well as work on the ground to support smooth operations. He/She is organised, meticulous and works well in a dynamic work environment.
Operational Oversight/ Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity.
- Oversee and optimize daily operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows and enhance overall operational performance.
- Conduct regular evaluations to ensure processes align with organizational objectives.
Resource Allocation:
- Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational demands.
- Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency.
Compliance:
- Ensure operations complies with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact operational processes.
Risk Assessment:
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace through regular risk assessments.
- Analyze and evaluate risks to develop effective control measures.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, or other safety incidents to determine the root cause.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on operational performance and present findings to management.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Job Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Oil and gas experience has advantage
- Safety experience has advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and comfortable with using technology to aid work.
