Position: Manufacturing Engineer/ Team Lead
Working Hours: Normal Shift Work
Working Place: West Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a production team safely use and maintain machine/assembly tools, equipment per procedure and work instruction (WI).
- Ensure safety guidelines and standard strictly implemented in shop operation.
- Provide guidance to technicians in various manufacturing functions and ensure a team to perform a good quality production.
- Manage day-to-day production to optimize resource and achieve on time delivery and best productivity.
- Ensure the smooth workflow of the shop by managing the manpower through responsibilities assignment and schedules preparation for the team
- Work to continuously improve in all areas to be in line with plant’s objectives and KPIs
- Implement and maintain shop production standard per CMS Elements: SFDM, 6S, TPM, A4 Problem Solving, ESP, RIE, SMED
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent preferred
- More than 5 years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Welding and/or Machining
- System Knowledge: HR Navigate, SAP, MII
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Excel and Words
- Background in lean manufacturing methodologies and operational excellence
