- To guide consultants and review their design to ensure the design adequacy to meet the relevant requirements and preferences of the contract.
- To optimize the design to reduce cost and construction schedule effectively.
- To coordinate with the construction team to ensure the feasibility and constructability of the designed scheme.
- To train and enhance the capabilities of design engineers/managers.
- Coordinate and review all design matters with LTA, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, etc.
- Provide technical solutions/advice on design issues to related teams
- Manage and control design deliverables related to BIM, technical, contractual and cost issues
- Manage subcontractors, review shop drawings to check to meet all design requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the design of civil & structures / Architectural works for LTA MRT projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Prefer candidates with relevant experience in Project and design management.
- Candidate must be detail-oriented.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Strong in planning and documentation.
