Join Our Team at the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic
Established in 2009, the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic serves as a TCM Board approved teaching clinic for the Double-degree program in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine at the NTU School of Biological Sciences. We offer a range of services including acupuncture, cupping, tuina treatment massage for adults, and paediatric tuina, along with herbal medication.
Job Description
- Conduct general clinic duties, such as patient consultations, dispensary work, and customer service, following a training period at the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic.
- Teach and manage internship courses for students enrolled in the Double Degree Programme.
- Perform administrative duties related to the Double Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences and run the operations at the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic.
- Educate the public on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through talks and events.
- Promote the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic through public talks and outreach events.
Requirements
- Singapore Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner.
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Medicine recognized by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB).
- Knowledge of Chinese Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques.
- Preferably 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Competency in computer operations and office software.
- Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail in patient care and documentation.
- Proactive in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
