Assistant Manager, Fundraising

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you are responsible for developing co-branding collaboration with corporate partners, influencers and Charity Ambassadors. You will execute other fundraising strategies as well. The objective is to raise the SCS branding, raise awareness of our mission and to raise funds for our programmes. You will work with existing partners and cultivate new relations through networking or cold calls.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop co-branding collaboration with corporate partners, influencers and charity ambassadors
  • Review and maximize revenue from direct online donations (via SCS web and 3rd party portals)
  • Manage department partnership agreements and conduct regular audit to ensure compliance
  • Provide regular department and team revenue and expense analysis/tracking to highlight areas of concerns
  • Support fundraising events such as Race against Cancer, Relay for Life, Charity Golf or Charity Gala Dinner, etc
  • Provide support in the preparing the annual budget and reforecast exercise
  • Support Corporate Social Responsibility engagement programmes and activities
  • Work closely with finance to ensure necessary alignment on related matters
  • Maintain and ensure all direct donor information is captured, stored and managed in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • Ensure all administrative matters include regular reports, record keeping are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Business or Marketing
  • 5 years of relevant fundraising experience
  • Good understanding of the nonprofit sector
  • Good understanding of fundraising regulations and guidelines
  • Good understanding of managing financial budgets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels
