The Resident Engineer shall lead the site supervisory team comprising Resident Technical Officers to provide supervision, inspection and quality assurance of all C&S works for the project. The RE is also required to assist in the management and co-ordination of the multi-disciplinary supervisory teams representing all Project Consultants. Applicants should possess the following requirements:-
· Recognized Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
· Must have at least 10 years’ post-graduate with at least 5 years’ experience as resident engineer‘s role in supervising building projects and basement construction.
· Fully conversant with Building Control Act and Regulations & MOM regulations on building works. Able to systematically maintain site records, contract documents and meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act.
· Ability to administer contracts professionally and manage site team is essential.
· Ability to monitor progress and ensure that work done and materials used are in accordance with approved specifications, codes, standards and regulations, and to work with the Project Team, QP, and contractors to rectify any non-conformance.
· Extensive experience in the supervision of bored piles, basements, canal/culvert works, long span structural steel trusses, composite construction, precast RC construction, ERSS and pipe jacking works.
· Registered with BCA-IES as Resident Engineer.
Able to start work within short notice
