Role Summary:

  • A strategic leadership position as the second-in-command in our Singapore operations, with a focus on expanding sales channels and business development in the commercial vehicle sector, including achievements like the Shanghai AI truck launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish new sales channels and funnels to enhance market reach and penetration.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key industry players, especially major commercial vehicle buyers in Singapore and the region.
  • Independently initiate operations, setting the stage for an effective sales team.
  • Leverage an existing network within the industry for efficient and impactful business development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven expertise in the commercial vehicle sector, with a focus on sales and channel development.
  • Ability to work autonomously and strategically in a startup environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of building and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
  • Established network within the industry, indicating potential to foster significant business opportunities.
  • Excellent proficiency in Business Chinese (both written and verbal).
  • Extensive experience in the commercial vehicle industry, with a successful track record in roles of similar stature.
  • Demonstrated ability in team leadership, responsible for building their own team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and verbal).
  • Extensive experience in the commercial vehicle industry, with a strong understanding of the trucking sector to enhance customer interactions and engagement.
  • Proven track record in similar leadership roles, with an ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Hiring Autonomy:

Empowered with the autonomy to shape the sales department, the Channel Sales Director will play a crucial role in hiring and leading a team that aligns with the company's ambitious goals.
