Job Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced and visionary Test Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing advanced automated testing solutions using TypeScript and Python. As a Test Architect, you will be a key driver in shaping and optimizing our overall testing strategy. Collaborating closely with the development team, you will leverage your expertise to design innovative testing frameworks and mentor team members, contributing to the evolution of our testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design complex and scalable automated testing frameworks using TypeScript and Python.
- Collaborate with the development team to define and implement testing strategies that ensure a high level of software quality.
- Lead the identification and resolution of complex defects, providing technical insights and solutions to maintain software integrity.
- Document and communicate test architecture and strategies to stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the testing approach.
- Work collaboratively with Test Engineers, Developers, and other cross-functional teams and cross-region teams to enhance testing processes and methodologies continually.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership, sharing knowledge and best practices in automated testing and test architecture.
- Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing and test architecture.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing advanced automated testing solutions.
- Extensive experience with TypeScript and Python for test architecture and automation.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate testing efforts, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-region environment.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. Chinese language skills are a plus.
