ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Able to draft Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Process & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), and General Arrangement Layouts (GA)
• Work on proposal standardization, developing design calculations including sizing, utility data & BOQs
• Perform process design calculation and propose optimizations
• Interact with consultants/vendors/contractors for obtaining quotations (parts and equipment)
• Work closely with New Products and Applications team to iterate through designs and schemes
• Prepare, coordinate, and assist in writing of reports, technical write-ups, data sheets, and process plant descriptions for tenders.
• Drive RFP/RFQ process and responses through all stages, including process planning, technical review, milestone schedules, content collection and development
• Coordinate, and assist in process design, engineering design, and production of specifications for proposals in association with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering
• Prepare cost estimates for assigned project tender
• Support in preparing Process Control Narratives, SOP, and O&M manuals
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental
• 3-5 years of experience in proposal preparation or process design for a water/wastewater treatment industry
• Sounds technical knowledge on technologies such as chemical precipitation, reverse osmosis, zero liquid discharge
• Proficient in AutoCad 2-D
• Familiar with 3D modeling such as Solidworks, Revit, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail
