Duties & Responsibilities
The main accountabilities are:
- Lead the marketing team and external agencies for Best-in-Class execution.
- Develop and execute regional marketing and PR campaigns with full ownership of budgets and return of investment.
- Drive consumer and trade-related initiatives to increase demand in both digital and traditional media platforms.
- Drive on-line conversions via the various brand websites.
- Conceptualise physical and virtual events or platforms for sales-generating activities.
- Identify and report key trends in the industry across the region and incorporate them into global and local marketing plans.
- Conduct market intelligence and research in association with competition analysis and monitor consumer trends.
- Initiate and execute impactful strategic marketing with trade partners.
- Work collaboratively with the worldwide marketing teams on global campaigns and the localization of assets, websites, and collaterals.
- Agency and Brand management.
- Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (Paid Media) and the potential ROI in the marketing activity.
- Develop and understand the target audiences’ attitudes, behaviour, and perceptions, using a variety of market information and research data.
- Campaign performance management and data analysis.
- Engage consumers in the world of digital communications by demonstrating its direct response, creative and brand-building abilities.
- Maintain working relationships with the media and act as the company's point-of-contact.
- Co-ordinate all PR campaigns with various agencies across Asia.
- Conduct media positioning and landscaping in the region, taking into account an integrated paid, owned, earned relationship with different media partners.
- Support sales teams and trade events and consumer fairs.
- Emergency and Crisis Response responsibilities.
- Travelling as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Communications or Marketing.
- Proven experience as a senior marketing leader in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Experience in Hospitality / Travel Industry is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple function and collaborate seamlessly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Creative and Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to address marketing challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills, able to connect within partner organizations at multiple levels.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
