Responsibilities:
1. Developing Quality Standards
- Establishing and maintaining quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
2. Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QMS in compliance with relevant standards & regulations, such as ISO9001 and industry-specific requirements.
- Implementing & managing QMS to continuously improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality.
- Set quality strategies to drive company quality culture and quality improvements in process, product, and system.
3. Supplier Quality Management
- Collaborating with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet quality standards and conducting audits as needed.
- Maintains strong supplier quality relationships and drive supplier performance improvements.
4. Quality Assurance
- Creating and executing quality assurance programs, including testing protocols, inspection procedures, and product evaluations.
- Provide headship and consulting advice in quality matters.
5. Quality Control
- Establish and oversee quality control procedures & inspection processes to ensure product and service quality meets or exceeds customers expectations.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyzing quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Generating reports and presenting findings to senior management.
7. Team Leadership
- Leading and mentoring a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of quality excellence, and providing guidance on best practices.
- Lead a team of metrology specialists, inspectors, and engineers to manage day-to-day product inspection and buyoff.
- Lead a team of inspectors and supervisors to ensure incoming materials met internal and customer specifications and requirements.
- Lead, train, develop, and coach Quality team members. Manage performance evaluation and strengthen the organization.
8. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, SEMI, customer-specific requirements).
- Plan and lead manufacturing process audit.
9. Continuous Improvement
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean methodologies, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance quality & efficiency.
10. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, production, and R&D, to resolve quality-related issues and optimize processes.
11. Risk Management
- Identifying and mitigating quality-related risks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Action Board to drive robust manufacturing system and process quality to meet internal and customer requirements and expectations.
12. Customer Focus
- Interacting with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any concerns or issues related to product quality.
- Support Customer Quality Engineering to investigate customer product complaints.
13. Budgeting and Resource Allocation
- Managing budgets and resources effectively to achieve quality objectives.
- Responsible for quality KPIs and reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Engineering, Material Science) or a related field.
- A minimum 10 years of experience in quality management & assurance. Preferably from manufacturing semiconductor/manufacturing or electronics or high- tech instrument industry setting.
- Professional & strong knowledge of QMS & ISO Standards in a semiconductors/manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory and certifications requirements.
- Quality Auditor Certification is a plus.
- Good knowledge and practice Lean, FMEA, 6-sigma methodology, PPAP, change management.
- Good understanding of First Article Inspection requirements and expectations.
- Good understanding and experience in metrology management.
- Good understanding and experience in supplier quality management.
- Strong in analysis techniques and problem solving methodology.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external teams in both bilingual.
- Strong analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently to resolve critical issues.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task/work under pressure in a high energy and fast paced-environment with critical and tight schedules.
