Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the SVP, Finance, you shall assist to ensure the set-up and effective running of finance operations. You are required to maintain the full sets of accounts of the intermediately holding companies to ensure effective implementation of financial controls. Other than the timely provision and analysis of financial reports, you will also be responsible for cash flow forecast and management, tax planning and computation, budgeting, and preparation of statutory accounts. You are expected to work closely with all internals as well as external business partners. This is a highly visible role within the company and you will have the opportunity to work and interact closely with the senior management team.
Principal Duties:
- In charge of the Company’s financial and management reporting, accounting, tax, and treasury functions
- Review of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and financial reports (includes presenting monthly/quarterly reports to the senior management team)
- Prepare and coordinate with all stakeholders for half-yearly SGX reporting, quarterly board meeting preparation, including board paper and presentation slides, and detailed analysis
- Manage the budgeting and financial planning process
- Review and implement accounting and financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial policies
- Review quarterly GST returns, tax computation and handle tax queries from the tax authority
- Manage loan drawing/rollovers, timely activation of bank financing, daily operating cash flows, cash flow forecast, and hedging policy
- Monitor compliance of loan covenants and negotiate amendments/waivers of the loan documents (with lenders) where necessary
- Work with auditors, tax agents, lawyers, bankers, trustee, and other service providers on all finance related matters
- And all other duties as assigned by the SVP, Finance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with at least of 3 years of relevant working experience (Preferably in the real estate related industry)
- Team player with the ability to work independently under tight timelines
- Resourceful, meticulous, organized, independent, and able to multi-task. Confident and comfortable with handling data and figures
- Well-versed with current Singapore financial reporting and tax requirements
