Overview:
Reporting to the team lead / head, you will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to assist in client onboarding and support (mainly Institutional and Corporate clients from Japan).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting RMs in new accounts onboarding.
- Performing Account Opening checks, including KYC, AML, and customer Due Diligence checks, etc.
- Coordinating with Front/Middle/Back office to provide prompt pre and post sales service functions for customer problem resolution.
- Liaising directly with the clients to ensure their accounts are set up with complete functionality on the trading platforms.
- Support the RM in initiatives and marketing plans.
- Assist in maintaining the necessary information/documentation properly and in compliance with the rules and regulations.
- Assist in process review and process re-engineering to improve internal controls and work efficiencies.
- Preparation of monthly reports, i.e. business reports and marketing reports.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Business/Finance or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of or experience in securities, derivatives, LFX, and private banking industry will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory for liaising with Japanese clients.
- Able to travel.
- Positive, meticulous, systematic, assertive, analytical, possess strong problem-solving skills, and good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under tight timelines and withstand pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
