Responsibilities:
- AML Program Design and Execution:Independently design, set up, and execute AML programs and governance frameworks for designated countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Develop policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant AML regulations and standards. - Lending Experience:Preferred, but not mandatory, experience in lending, particularly with a focus on the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) concept.
Ability to adapt AML programs to suit the unique requirements of lending operations, including BNPL services. - Autonomous Execution: Utilize past experience in independently setting up and executing AML programs to ensure effective implementation in the lending context.
Demonstrate the capability to translate AML program experience into the BNPL domain. - Collaboration with AMLRO:Work closely and directly with the organization’s Regional AMLRO (Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer).
Provide support and insights to the AMLRO, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational AML strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in AML compliance preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, setting up, and executing AML programs in the financial services industry, with a focus on the designated countries.
- Familiarity with lending operations and regulatory requirements, particularly in the BNPL sector.
- Proven track record of autonomy and effectiveness in executing AML programs independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
