Manager, Finance Business Partnering
Our client is looking for experienced Manager Finance Business Partner to manage country Business Unit's management reporting, analysis, performance tracking and issue management, decision support, budgeting/planning, investment, contract appraisal and working capital control. Responsibilities
- Set and assess targets for accuracy, oversee working capital management, monitor business performance metrics and evaluate currency fluctuations.
- Supervise departmental budgets to ensure optimal resource utilization within annual allocations.
- Lead the annual target setting process for the country Business Unit, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Coordinate the implementation of global templates, establish review timelines, consolidate plans, and present the annual budget to the Senior Executive Team.
- Analyze monthly performance data from various sources (CORE, Crystal, Prism, etc.) to provide insights into current performance trends, identify key issues, and outline action plans.
- Assist in presenting monthly operations reviews to the Country Finance Manager, offering insights into Business Unit performance.
- Provide financial support for contractual negotiations, client profitability analysis, presentations, issue management, investments, and other initiatives.
- Produce detailed analyses and commentaries on financial aspects like advertising spend, working capital management, and cost trends to facilitate discussions.
- Prepare relevant information and analysis for strategic projects such as M&A due diligence, restructurings, and joint venture negotiations.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline Business Unit controlling processes and reporting through better use of automated systems.
- Foster internal collaboration across the Business Unit to ensure timely financial insights and effective resolution of financial issues.
- Collaborate with Group Business Unit controllers and local Country Finance Managers to standardize analytics and reporting for consistent support.
- Oversee team performance in achieving goals and drive execution against set objectives.
- Develop the team's skills in Business Controlling/Business Unit reporting and organizational behavior to enhance performance.
Requirements
- Degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 – 8 years of experience in a comparable position, ideally with exposure to country-level controlling duties
- Apply financial and accounting principles effectively, particularly in budget management
- Familiarity with SAP accounting applications is advantageous
- Exhibit a robust grasp of business dynamics and industry trends
- Showcase adeptness in research and analysis, including statistical analysis
- Proficient in office productivity software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, both in written and verbal communication
