JOB REQUIREMENT / RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Main scope of this role covers contracts, corporate secretarial, insurance, and corporate records & policies.
· Manage corporate secretarial matters, including matters related to board of directors matters.
· Maintain corporate documentation and records, including but not limited to legal, compliance, corporate secretarial, corporate policies, license, permits, trademarks, insurance, customer / supplier / consultancy / other contracts.
· Manage insurance renewal and claim process. Participate in insurance risk and strategy formulation.
· Manage contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, and independent judgement on the use of external counsels.
· Develop and maintain corporate processes, including but not limited to insurance, corporate secretarial, contract, or other related matters.
· Create and maintain best practice templates for legal documents, including but not limited to customer contracts, supplier contracts, non-disclosure agreements, standard terms and conditions for purchase orders.
· Manage and maintain relationship with external service provider including but not limited to insurance agents, corporate secretarial service providers, external legal counsel.
· Assist in ESG initiatives.
· Deliver training programs on various risk, legal and compliance matters as needed.
· Monitor changes in regulatory risks and industry best practices, suggest updates accordingly.
EDUCATION / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
· Diploma/Degree on legal and compliance related discipline
KEY REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
· Minimum 8 years post qualification experience in multinational corporate environment.
· Strong command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
· Well-structured and organized, attention to detail.
· Ability to apply legal and compliance concept practically in corporate environment.
