Responsibilities
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for railway projects.
- Perform quantity take-off and prepare cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate measurement and costing of project activities.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data for cost evaluation.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
- Manage and monitor project budgets and cash flows.
- Prepare and submit claims and variations to clients and subcontractors.
- Provide regular cost reports and updates to project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying for railway/trackwork projects.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
