Astek International is proposing an opportunity for a Database Engineer for our project based in Singapore.
- Overall 3 years of experience in Oracle (Performance tuning , DB recovery etc.) and MYSQL database technologies.
- Should have strong knowledge of database concepts covering primary MySQL and secondary Microsoft SQL server.
- Must have experience in Performance Tuning / Optimization skill
- Programming knowledge involving data access layer-related APIs like Java & JDBC.
- Knowledge of additional relational databases and NoSQL/In memory/big data stores
- Experience working with Continuous Integration and Delivery and how it impacts persistent data tiers
- Provide 24x7 operational support of database systems with responsibility for uptime, overall system performance, identifying root cause and implementing improvements to avoid recurrence
