Responsibilities:
· Accept and carry out responsibilities in accordance with the company compliance, health, and safety policies.
· Managing and ensuring the fulfillment of Inbound/Outbound/VAS activities based on customer’s volume trend, sales campaigns/activities to ensure a well-functioning supply chain to local stores
· Monitoring of volume/activities ensuring facilities and resources are optimized and sufficient to support a consistent and flow-functioning distribution centre.
· Close monitoring on day-to-day activities and implementation of proactive measures to raise KPI targets
· Manage team performance and workload to ensure effective and efficient service delivery by the operations team.
· Keeping close contact with and customers, transporter, and suppliers to ensure good service levels, productivity, and optimal customer service
· Ensuring operational plans and forecast are executed promptly.
· Decision making based on analytical data.
· Responsible for meeting KPIs within the agreed lead time.
· Lead, develop and support team members growth and performance by through continuous improvement (Training/Materials) and setting qualities targets.
· Undertake any other activities as directed by immediate superiors.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma in logistics or Supply Chain Management or a related field
· Experience in managing and leading a team of 60 - 80 workers
· Strong leadership skills –Ability to delegate work, follow up on the results and provide constructive, straightforward feedback
· In-depth knowledge of key principles in operations.
· A hands-on person with min. 2 years of supervisory experience and people management
· Able to ideate and drive projects in fast-paced environment
· Highly organised and able to multitask based on the needs in a fast paced environment.
· Able to identify areas for improvement and initiates new ideas and practices.
