Job Responsibilities
- Raise PO and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.
- Work with operations team on material purchasing plan to support production and ensure continuous material supply.
- Escalate material supply issue and work with team within region and globally on potential path forward.
- Provide material management data for review and feedback on potential improvement in material management process and planning.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by working closely with operations team.
- Maintain strategic relationships with vendors, negotiate best rates and credit terms.
- Measure and manage the vendors cost, quality and delivery performance.
- Ensure all activities related to purchasing function comply with company policies, Quality and EHS procedures.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Familiar with MS Office application preferred. Experience with JDE a plus.
- A team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, positive attitude, responsible individual and proven ability to work in a team environment.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin as suppliers and vendors include Mainland china.
