The job role of a Project Supervisor involves the following duties:
- Involved in the initial planning stages of a project and work with project managers and team members to define project goals, objectives, timelines and resource requirements.
- Oversee project teams, assigning tasks, providing guidance, be responsible for resolving conflicts and motivating team members to meet project deadlines.
- Track the progress of the project, ensuring that it stays on schedule and within budget.
- Responsible for ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project’s success and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including team members, clients, vendors, and other relevant parties. They may provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns, and seek input or feedback as needed
- To ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. This may include project plans, status reports, meeting minutes and other relevant documents
- To resolve issues and overcome obstacles that arise during the course of a project. This may involve troubleshooting technical problems, resolving conflicts among team members, or addressing challenges related to project scope or requirements
- Ensuring that all deliverables have been completed satisfactorily and that any outstanding issues or risks have been addressed
