The Built Environment is a key focus for this role. You will be leading our programmes and projects and developing expertise and networks in this area, whilst from time to time, be tasked to support other thematic programmes. Not only will you gain a good understanding about the functions of corporations and their challenges, you will have an overview of the big topics and business opportunities.

  • Facilitate a range of events (virtual, hybrid or physical), such as pitch/demo days, workshops, hackathons, etc.

Programme/project management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with partners/clients, programme/project execution and reporting, and partner/client expectations in terms of delivery – this includes the national Built Environment innovation acceleration programme
  • Follow up with the startups or SMEs to monitor their progress in our programmes
  • Conduct research into technologies, startups, trends, or creative solutions to business briefs, and present the research, use cases and possible solutions in a report and/or as a presentation
  • Perform key tasks related to administration and finance in a timely and professional manner

Ecosystem development and new business development

  • Help curate and maintain a database of startups and SMEs
  • Engage with startups and SMEs in our programmes and networks, cultivate great partnerships with other ecosystem stakeholders, and bring your own ideas and energy in growing these relationships
  • Contribute thought leadership content, particularly future insights and trends reports, to engage with present and potential partners/clients
  • Support new business development by providing supporting research, writing proposals, participating in presentations, etc.

Attributes we require of you:

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic talent, who has a can-do attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You should have:

  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
