Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof. Vincent Tan on online decision making under a project on “Fundamental Limits for Statistical Learning”.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
(i) To perform excellent research with Prof. Vincent Tan and his team of students and research fellows, leading to publications in top venues in machine learning;
(ii) To teach one class in the Mathematics department per year.
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline: Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics or Computer Science
• Skills: Mathematical Optimization and Machine Learning
• Experience: 4 years of doing research in mathematical optimization and machine learning with relevant publications in top venues.
