Responsibilities
- Responsible for the production planning / co-ordination, scheduling, and dispatching
- Monitor & support material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
- Plans for production which includes releasing of work orders and ensuring on time delivery of shipments
- Evaluate and analyze MRP output to ensure the correct material is driven, ordered, issued
- Work closely with purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on time receipt, delivery of materials and finish goods shipments
- Co-ordinate and resolve outstanding materials issues with cross functional department to eliminate surprises material shortages
- Manage material transitions and work with Contract Manufacturing to use up all excess inventory
- Monitor and review shortage report to identify critical material shortage needs and work with procurement for improvement
- Review and approve interplant inventory allocation
- Work with procurement team to ensure POs are updated or new POs are placed
- Support monthly/quarterly work order-tool material variance review with finance
- Run weekly reports to determine (potential) material shortages that need to be expedited
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
- At least 5 years’ experience as production or factory planner, experience in the semiconductor equipment industry is a plus
- Must have strong analytical skills and be detail oriented
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge, SAP experience preferred
