Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof. Sun Rongfeng on online decision making under a project on “Fundamental Limits for Statistical Learning”.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
(i) To perform excellent research with Prof. Sun Rongfeng and his team of students and research fellows, leading to publications in top venues on probability theory, in particular in random graphs;
(ii) To teach one class in the Mathematics department per year.
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline: Ph.D. in Mathematics (Probability Theory)
• Skills: Strong research in probability theory, and in particular, in random graphs.
• Experience: 4 years of doing research on probability theory and random graphs
