QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance to Food Safety System and to update periodically.
- Perform cargo inspection on in-coming shipments, in process and finished products.
- Lead in sustaining SFA, Halal, FSSC/ISO 22000, HACCP yearly surveillance audit
- To liaise with authorities (eg, SFA) on related Food Safety / License issues when required.
- In charge of health certificate application and laboratory reports arrangement and maintenance of such records.
- Involve in Product Development projects.
- Conduct hygiene training, daily inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas.
- Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement project to sustain food quality & safety in factory
- Any other QA/QC duties as assigned by the company
Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science/microbiology
- Preferably at least 2 years experience in Food Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge in FSSC/ ISO / HACCP / HALAL standard requirement and Auditing
- Meticulous, positive working attitude, able to cooperate/ communicate with all level of employees
- Independent, initiative and motivate staff is required
