We are currently looking to recruit 2 Trainee consultants in Singapore to start our training and development plan that many others have successfully passed before you.
You will be trained on: -
- Headhunting and sourcing of candidates through various means
- Providing innovative ideas on candidate searching, tracking and database cleansing.
- Coach candidates on interview skills / Skills testing /preparing them thoroughly for interview
- Provide information to candidates on clients and job specifications
- Pre-screen candidates for suitability and conduct interviews
- Gain job opening info’ and candidate referrals
- Coding candidates on to the CRM
- Gathering info’ on clients –interview process, number of employees, turnover, USPs, benefits of joining the business etc
- Provide benchmark consultancy for clients – salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity
- At the end of the training, you will be involved in all aspects of recruitment, from making cold calls to working big accounts, from candidate inception to 360 degree deal completion.

What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will be proactive, assertive, highly organised and efficient. Similarly, time management and prioritisation will be of equal importance given you will be supporting different consultants across the business who are under time pressure themselves. In this context, the role will work to a high intensity; for example you are likely to be cold calling, headhunting, searching for candidates, writing job advertisements, sending job specifications and uploading CVs to the candidate database at the same time.
Initially this is not a client facing role, but you will be engaging heavily with candidates all staff internally so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to perform the role well. You will also have the confidence to proactively call and entice passive candidates as well as engage and move quickly on those candidates active in the job market.
Recruitment experience is not a prerequisite. We will provide all training on both recruitment processes and methodologies, as well as the relevant market knowledge.
