Core responsibilities
- Perform in-process, incoming and final inspection (visual and dimensional)
- Perform final verification check of completed jobs (inclusive of documentation)
- Maintenance of CMM and Inspection Room
- Maintenance of measuring instrument (inclusive of monitoring of signing out/signing in)
- Monitoring of calibration schedule of measuring instruments
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Precision Engineering
- Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in Quality function in a manufacturing environment
- Use of CMM and other measuring instruments
- Essential to have dimensional inspection and use of CMM experience
- Interpretation of mechanical/technical drawings
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD & T)
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Proactive and independent with positive attitude
