Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ACMV system design, installation, and commissioning in construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to integrate ACMV systems into building designs and plans.
- Review project specifications and ensure compliance with ACMV requirements.
- Coordinate procurement of ACMV equipment and materials.
- Conduct site inspections, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Perform tests, inspections, and commissioning of ACMV systems for proper functionality and performance.
- Prepare reports, progress updates, and documentation related to ACMV works for project management and client review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an M&E Engineer, with specialized experience in ACMV works for construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of ACMV system design, installation, and commissioning practices.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing ACMV systems in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software for ACMV system design and coordination.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot ACMV system issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Professional certifications or licenses related to ACMV systems and construction management are preferred.
- Relevant working experience for healthcare/hospital projects would be added advantage
