New Life Community Services is a not-for-profit social service agency that seeks to bring hope and purpose to children, youths, and seniors so that they go on to create a positive impact in their community and society.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our IT team to provide our users with hardware and software support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist users encountering issues with operating systems such as Windows 10 and 11, as well as software like Microsoft 365, and basic printer setup and support.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving for both IT hardware and applications. Escalate issues and involve second-tier support whenever required to resolve issues.
- Perform daily preventive checking for office IT facilities.
- Receive and log IT service requests and incidents into the ticketing system, case monitoring to ensure the supporting team closes the cases.
- Coordinate smaller IT-related projects, and vendor management and assist system deployments/upgrades with the appropriate internal teams and suppliers.
- Prepare and generate operation reports and documentation to ensure appropriate reporting and metrics are being delivered to the Manager.
- Manage IT Inventory.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines.
- Experience in supporting Microsoft product like Office365, Outlook, OneDrive, etc.
- Good knowledge of desktop OS/application support.
- Experience with MacOS support is advantageous.
- Ability to troubleshoot and either solve the issue or be able to describe the issue to outsourced support.
- Experience in IT project coordination.
- Good written and verbal communication.
