Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain virtualized infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Proficiently work with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Manage storage solutions from various providers including HDS, HPE, Dell, EMC, Lenovo, and IBM.
- Administer backup software applications such as Veeam, Veritas BackupExec, NetBackup, Acronis, Arcserve, and ShadowProtect.
- Possess desirable experience and knowledge in Linux systems to enhance overall system functionality.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, conduct root cause analyses, and promptly identify patterns to propose effective solutions.
- Address and resolve network, hardware, and software issues through systematic troubleshooting techniques.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer support and maintenance needs.
- Perform necessary maintenance tasks during off-peak hours and contribute to 24x7 operational support as required.
- Engage in requirements gathering processes to understand client needs and preferences.
- Deliver presentations to highlight the benefits and value of solutions and services, emphasizing their contribution to business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or similar.
- VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.
- 2+ year’s experiences in virtualization technology.
- Knowledge of server systems, storage systems, virtualization technologies and networking.
- Knowledge of data centre route/switch technology, backup/recovery in a virtual environment.
- Understanding of active directory architecture, DNS administration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong coordination and project skills.
- Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs.
- Assess and evaluate current virtual computing infrastructure, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
