You will collaborate closely with vendors and local IT representatives to carry out daily operational tasks supporting the Microsoft 365 environment and undertake system administration responsibilities within a hybrid cloud setup (utilizing Hyper-V/VMware virtualization, Microsoft Windows server, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Microsoft SQL). Your role involves ensuring optimal system performance, security, and availability by monitoring systems for potential bottlenecks, implementing solutions, performing system patching, and managing data backups for both on-premise and cloud systems. Additionally, you'll support IT initiatives such as assisting with Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), participating in IT audit exercises, contributing to annual IT Disaster Recovery (DR) drills, and providing escalation support when necessary.
- Assist the Infrastructure lead in overseeing enterprise LAN/WAN, IP Telephony, Routing, Wireless Backhaul, Data Centre Networking Technology, Cambium Networks (cnMaestro), and Network Management Systems (NMS), encompassing fault, configuration, performance, and capacity management environments. Lead the design, planning, and execution of relevant projects.
- Manage and execute expert-level network maintenance, upgrades, and configurations. Diagnose and resolve advanced network issues promptly.
- Good knowledge of Security Management across various platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, PAN, VMWare NSX, etc.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to assess new network technologies. Take an active role in designing and selecting future platforms, addressing inter-technology and inter-platform concerns.
- Implement Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning measures effectively
Requirements
- Experience with Cisco routing/switching equipment and routing technology
- General experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, IPS, threat mitigation and end point protection
- CCNP and above is preferred
- Vulnerability assessment and management experience
