Job purpose
As an Accounts Assistant, he/she will support and assist the Manager on our day-to-day Accounts Payable & Receivable and all accounting operations, contributing to our success as we continue to grow.
Duties and responsibilities
· Perform bookkeeping duties.
· Prepare GST filing.
· Responsible for performing monthly intercompany billing.
· Match & Collate, Compile and sorting of documents.
· Responsible for updating or other data entry in system.
· Any other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Preferably a Diploma in Accountancy, LCCi Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant function.
- Proficient with MS Office and Accounting Software.
- Understanding of Accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
- Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
