Job Description
Production
- Facilitate submission of media reports by ensuring quality output of translators
- Scrutinise and challenge included media items in client's media reports
- Exercise sound judgment in assuming responsibilities formerly carried out by translators when as deadline approaches
- In charge of delivering short-cycle reports when the need arises
Data
- Perform various backend platform setups based on client's briefings delivered to Truescope
- Designing effective search queries and filters to accurately capture relevant media content across various sources such as news websites, social media platforms, blogs, forums, and more
- Keyword optimisation - Identifying and implementing relevant keywords, phrases, and topics to refine search queries and improve the precision and relevance of search results
- Technical troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to search functionality, data collection, or system performance to maintain uninterrupted service delivery
Job Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Boolean functions
- Excellent proficiency in Malay & English, bonus points if also fluent in Mandarin (secondary)
- Meticulous working style
- Able to conduct basic desk research without supervision
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- Great interpersonal communication skills
