Role Summary:
The Merchant Acquisition Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our network of local merchants and service providers. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and onboard Singapore-based businesses, contributing to the enhancement of our app's value proposition and user experience. Your success in this role will directly impact our growth and the satisfaction of travelers using our app.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, engage and onboard brands and businesses to advertise within our GoSingapore travel app
- Develop and execute strategies to meet acquisition targets and revenue goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling advertising proposals
- Monitor industy trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Provide regular reports on acquisition activities, progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in media sales or merchant acquisition roles
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work indepedently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with the travel industry and advertising trends is a plus
