An architectural products sales manager is responsible for selling products to architects, general contractors, designers, and developers. An integral part of their job is building long-term relationships with clients and customers. This job typically requires a bachelor's degree; however, we welcome enthusiastic individuals interests in construction, sales, and communications and architectural or construction industries experience, as well as sales experience, is highly recommended.
Responsibilities

- To meet annual sales target and to prepare monthly sales report
- Main goals are to strategically generate sales leads and increase product sales
- To develop new businesses opportunities and maintain close relationships with potential and current customers
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Represent the technical aspects of the product and propose how these aspects can benefit the customer
- Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products and services
- Provides product, technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel
- Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of the product or service and how it may suit the customer better than competing products
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
- Negotiate & closing of contracts
- Identification & reporting of local market trends & and competitor updates
- Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of supplies and installation in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in use of materials and installation
- Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives
- Submits orders by conferring with sales support staff
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- To be able to work in a team and achieve the desired results
Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
- Required skill(s): Good Analytical Skills, Able to read Drawing, and Simple Schedule Planning
- Preferably skill(s): Construction Contract, Management, good writing skills
- Required language(s): English, Chinese. Preferably with some dialects
- 2-3 year(s) of working experience in construction industry as sales/marketing personnel
- Enthusiastic, good team player who is result-oriented and customer focus, High level of initiative;
- Work in fast pace and demanding environment
- Strong communications skills
- Good presentation skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, a strong drive to succeed, and basic computer skills.
