Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate must know the full operation of an travel agency. He/She will be responsible for day to day operation, liasing with vendors and clients. He/She must know how to operate GDS, understand travel visa requirement and with proficient with MS office suite, Video conferencing, CRM software. In depth knowledge of the travel industry will be a plus. He/She will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients, negotiating contracts, and developing marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the travel industry
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and other related businesses
- Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure profitable partnerships
- Collaborate with internal team members to develop marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Achieve sales targets
- Perform ticketing and other chores if colleagues on leave.
Requirements:
- Minimum A Level and above
- 2+ years of experience in the travel agencies business.
- Proven track record of successfully closing sales and maintaining relationships with clients. Provide aftersales customer support.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good work ethnic and willing to work extra to meet dateline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Video conferencing and CRM software.
