Responsibilities
- Produce work in accordance with the artistic direction of the project
- Create highly quality 2D animations and responsible for integration of data to engine, as well as testing and debug
- Create prototypes and production animation that fits with the game design vision
- Follow the quality standards as well as managing time to meet deadlines
- Actively contribute to the improvements of the animation tools and production pipelines
- Review and feedback on the works from our animation outsourcing partners and follow-up with them to ensure a there is an effective animation outsourcing pipeline
Requirements
- A keen eye for motion and animation
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in the casual mobile game industry with a strong understanding of rigging, skinning, keyframe animation, and procedural animation
- Knowledge of the human anatomy, physiological reactions, body language and proportions in character concepts in order to express character emotions through movement
- Proficiency in using any of common game design tools and software, such as After Effect, Cocos, Spine, Photoshop, unity or Max.
- Experience in spine animation is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members effectively.
- Passion for gaming and art, with a broad interest in different game genres and styles.
- Proficient in Mandarin is preferred as you will require to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparties in China.
- Experience in managing outsourced animation vendors is a plus
