Coordination of air freight for export; support general office operations whenever needed; close coordination with customer service, understanding the airline operational process.
Key Responsibilities
- Export coordination of air freight shipments.
- Preparing Documents and submitting to Singapore Customs.
- Respond to phone, e-mail, or faxed and requests from clients, agents or outside sales representatives.
- Handle bookings for consignee routed cargo as requested by our agents, shippers.
- Coordinate pickups and provide timely quotes for inland.
- Obtaining estimated costs for unusual cargo such as oversize, dangerous goods and perishables. Follow up on cargo arrival at destination for pending inland arrangements.
- Assist in any service requests from customers or agents as required by the line managers in the Air Freight Department.
- Manages difficult customer situations.
- Responds promptly to customer needs.
- Solicits customer feedback to improve service.
- Responds to requests for service and assistance professionally.
