Responsibilities:
- To prepare and provide weekly flash, monthly flash, monthly forecast, dashboard, and presentation slides.
- In charge of Inventory Management (e.g. half-yearly stock take, monthly inventory provision and Stock Sales analysis).
- Analyze and provide commentary of monthly balance sheet fluctuations.
- Submission of monthly CAPEX for Corporate reporting.
- Prepare monthly mark to market valuation of outstanding Hedging Contracts.
- Review and approve 3rd party and Intercompany payments.
- Involved with Treasury Management by ensuring there are sufficient funds for operational use by monitoring cash book and bank balances.
- To co-ordinate and facilitate reporting deadlines related to the Legal Entity such as statutory audit, tax compliance, government survey.
- Prepare yearly tax computation.
- To review the intercompany reconciliation prepared by the Assistant Accountant and make the necessary adjustments in the Group Reporting packages (BPM).
- Review Hedging requests and maintain proper records prepared by the Assistant Accountant
- Review Bank reconciliation prepared by the Assistant Accountant
- Responsible for accounting, secretarial and tax matters of subsidiary in Australia
- Manage Direct Report (Assistant Accountant) regarding organizational and daily operational matters.
- Monitors progress, review and supervise direct reports for work quality.
Requirements:
- Degree in accountancy or equivalent, preferably with CPA designation
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position, preferably 5 to 8 years
- Advanced (knowledge of formulas) or professional skill level in Excel, experience in SAP will be a plus.
- Experience working for MNC will be a plus
- Understanding on concept of Managerial EBITDA and Managerial Free Cash Flow, Operating Working Capital Requirement will be a plus.
- Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete projects.
- Independent, proactive with strong initiative and positive working attitude
- Able to organize and prioritize tasks well and work to tight deadlines or under pressure without close supervision with good time management skills.
- Will drive/execute key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation.
- Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills with employees of all levels.
- High level of written and spoken English.
