Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible in handling complex projects, mainly in the AirConditioning and Mechanical ventilation (ACMV), in accordance with company procedures, including the continuous improvement of productivity, customer satisfaction, schedule, delivery and safety performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the installation of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems in buildings, including ductwork, piping and equipment selection
- Develop and implement maintenance programs for HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
- Manage and supervise a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology to ensure the company remains competitive
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients and management
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client meetings
Job Requirements
- Min. 5 years of experience in ACMV works
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including equipment selection, load calculations, and ductwork design
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors and project teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- 5 days work week with alternate Saturday
