Position: Validation Engineer (Contract – 12 months)
Location: Bendemeer
Working Hour: Mon to Fri, 830am to 530pm
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute validation test plan (black box testing) on SSD devices on laptop and desktop systems.
- In-charge of compatibility/system integration testing.
- Perform failure analysis and collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve SSD issues.
- Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality, recommend and implement test coverage improvement actions.
- Analyze and create test standards and procedures.
- Improve customer integration experience.
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering
- Experience working with PC/Notebooks (PC Setup, PC troubleshooting).
- Working experience in either SSD or HDD industry would be an advantage.
- Experience with SATA and/or NVMe storage interface protocols and Windows/Linux Operating Systems.
- Programming knowledge in Python.
- Experience in using SATA/PCIe bus analyzers, bus trace analysis would be an advantage.
